Preparation before starting: (1) To ensure the normal use of this instrument, the operator needs to prepare the following items: 1. 2 liters of distilled water 2. A funnel 3. A 500ml beaker 4. A glass rod 5. AC220V power socket (flat three-wire; 10A) to ensure reliable grounding. 6. Stainless steel pipe or copper pipe with outer diameter φ3mm. (2) Prepare electrolyte: Dilute 100 grams of analytical pure potassium hydroxide (KOH) with 400-500ml of distilled water, dissolve and cool, and pour it into the liquid tank, and then add distilled water to the "1.2" mark (not exceeding). Note: When adding electrolyte, use a funnel to slowly inject it to avoid outflow. (3) Tighten the sealing cap of the hydrogen output port on the rear panel of the instrument. (4) Check the grounding end of the power cord of the instrument to make it grounded reliably. Power on: (1) Turn on the power, turn on the switch, and observe the flow display. (2) When the pressure gradually rises and the pressure reaches 0.4Mpa (set value), the digital display returns to zero and the display is "000-020", indicating that the instrument is normal. Online: After the startup is normal, turn off the machine, then remove the sealing pressure cap on the hydrogen outlet, connect the gas chromatograph with a pipe with an outer diameter of φ3mm, and ensure that the sealing joint does not leak, then start the instrument, and wait until the pressure reaches the set pressure be usable. Every time you use it in the future, you only need to turn on the power switch of the instrument. Fourth, the replacement of color-changing silica gel: After using the instrument for a period of time, it is found that the silica gel in the drying tube gradually changes color from bottom to top. When it exceeds a certain height, the silica gel should be replaced. The operation steps are as follows: Rotate in the direction shown, Unscrew the cover of the drying tube:

3. Install new (or dried) silica gel, the amount should not exceed the small vent near the nozzle. Cover the cotton ball, be careful not to have cotton thread and other sundries on the end of the drying tube (otherwise it will cause air leakage), and then put it into the outer tube of the drying tube. 4. Tighten the cover of the drying tube, and use soap to check for leaks after starting the machine to ensure the seal. Five, matters needing attention: The instrument should be placed on the workbench for easy observation and operation. This instrument is not allowed to run for a long time (above 10min) when the pressure is zero, otherwise it will cause abnormal electrolyte circulation. Observe the discoloration of the desiccant frequently, and replace the discoloration silica gel in time. Observe the liquid level frequently and add distilled water in time to keep the liquid level between 0.6-1.2 scale lines. Since this instrument only consumes distilled water when working, it does not consume KOH, so just add distilled water. (It is recommended to replace the electrolyte once a year. For the preparation method of the new electrolyte, refer to "3, 3, (2),"). If the electrolyte is lower than the 0.6 mark, it will cause the electrolytic cell to burn. The hydrogen flow value displayed by this instrument is for reference only. 6. Packing list: One host. Analyze 100 grams of pure potassium hydroxide (KOH).
